May Fishing Report: Bear Creek Categories: 22

Flows are currently rising on bear creek with current flows above 115.  When I started fishing the creek on Sunday the water was at 100 cfs around 3:00 PM and slowly dropped to 94 cfs as I was leaving around 7:00 PM. Water clarity was a little murky when I first started but appeared to improve as the afternoon continued.

South Platte River Fly Fishing Report: May Categories: 22

The fishing on the main stem of the South Platte River continues to be excellent with flows right in line with historic averages.  On one of our recent guide trips we started fairly early and we were on the water before 8:00am.  The water was clear and the Stream Flow was at 288 CFS.  We had clear skies and the river was pleasantly un-crowded. We began fishing just downstream of Deckers and found a few feeding rainbows right out of the gate.
