Sitting here back at the shop today, my legs are no longer tired from three days of standing, yet I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit bummed the Fly Fishing Show came and went so quickly. As most everyone is aware at this point, we did things differently at this years show and didn't focus on selling product. We set up an inviting and welcoming booth and focused on you, the customer. For anyone unfamiliar with Trouts Fly Fishing at the show, we wanted to be remembered as the shop that provided real conversations and let customers know who we are, what we do, what we're about, and most importantly, that we we're going to be there in the future for all of their fly fishing needs. Our hope was to have this approach leave a more lasting impression than simply just being "that shop where they got the cheap waders". I don't think one of us here at the shop today doesn't consider this weekend a HUGE success. I know I certainly do.

So with that in mind, we want to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by, gave a slightly puzzled look and said, "Where's your stuff?". This led to some great conversations with (hopefully) some loyal future customers! To all the current customers who swung by- THANK YOU as well for hanging out with us for a bit as well and chatting. It's always good to hear from you all that we're doing a good job- which was thankfully a common theme throughout the weekend. We take a lot of pride in our shop and the level of service we provide- so with that- thanks to you all.

Additionally, another big THANK YOU to all our special guests who swung by the booth throughout the weekend as we debuted our Connection Series of speaker events. While these served just as much as an 'informative meet and greet', I know countless folks walked away more informed and knowledgable anglers.
