Carp Slam 6 is right around the corner and Trout’s Fly Fishing is a proud sponsor of the event being held on August 25th. “Trout’s has been a stalwart sponsor of the Carp Slam as well as a great partner of Denver Trout Unlimited for a number of years,” said Cory Stansbury, President of Denver Trout Unlimited. “Because of this type of sponsorship, support, and long term commitment to the river that Trout’s provides, we are able to put on a high caliber event and raise a great deal of money that goes right back into the river.”
Trout’s would also like to encourage their customers and anyone else interested in improving the river to join them at the awards ceremony at the Evening on the South Platte event directly after the tournament.

Trout’s Fly Fishing is going to highlight a number of destinations within a seven hour car ride of Denver. Our goal is to give our customers and readers ideas and options for a long range summer road trip. In addition to giving you some basic information about the fishery, we spoke to experts who are very familiar with these locations. If you are headed in their direction, give these people a call. They know the water, and in most cases, we have personally fished with them.
