The Olympic Peninsula
The Olympic Peninsula is the westernmost point of the contiguous United States and is bordered by the Pacific Ocean, the Strait of Juan de Fuca and to the east by Hood Canal. It is also home to big and wild steelhead.

This is part two of a three part introduction to travel in the Pacific Northwest that we covered here at the shop in early October. The Klickitat River is located in Southern Washington and runs from near the base of Mount Adams to the Columbia River. It is also a great river to begin your steelhead journey if you are new to this hard fighting species.
