Back By Popular Demand: Casting and Cocktails!

April 4, 2013
Author: Will Rice

Here’s what we bring - a quiver of Sage ONEs, Scott A4s, a couple switch rods, and a massive Yeti cooler filled with ice.

Here’s what you bring - a desire to learn how to fly cast or improve your current casting skills... and BYO canned B (be aware, Park regulations state beer needs to be 3.2%).

Here’s where/when we bring it: April 25th 5:00-7:00pm on the South East Corner of Washington Park (Louisiana and Gilpin).

-       Do you want to get the feel of a fly rod for the first time and learn the basic mechanics of fly casting?  Do you know someone who has never fished before?  Bring them along.

-       Do you want to learn how to double haul, increase your line speed and punch your casts through the wind?

-       Do you want to give a two handed switch rod a try?

-       Do you want to know the secret to dropping eighty foot bombs for your next saltwater trip spring or summer?

All these questions will be answered on Thursday April 25th in Washington Park from 5:00-7:00pm on the Southeast corner of the park right at the intersection of Louisiana and Gilpin.  This is our first FREE hands-on casting clinic for the 2013 season that is geared to help improve your fishing knowledge and skills with the sole purpose of getting you into more fish.  Come join the staff of Trout’s Fly Fishing for Casting and Cocktails - we’re here to help.  If you joined us last year you know how much fun we have.  If you have any questions about the event do not hesitate to give us a call here at the shop at 877.464.0034.
