Took the day off from work and headed to a local Bass pond. Haven't had my pontoon boat out in a while, so I was eager to get on the water.
The Bass pond, definitely not the most scenic spot to fish, but I guess it's what's underneath that counts.
Didn't take long for to bring in the first fish of the day. Wasn't anything to write home about, but I'll take it.

This rod is a very powerful rod that in case can throw streamers in the wind... Yes that's right multiple. If your fishing multiple flies on a regular basis then this rod is for you. Although nine inches seems small in the grand scheme of things, it truly makes a difference when you want to reach out and extend that drift into the sweet spot.

I've always been a big fan of medium to medium-fast action rods and oftentimes still find myself fishing my old stand by, the Sage SLT 486-4. This "newer" version of the old SLT is truly a better stick.
