Landon will be in the shop providing us insight on hunting big trout throughout Colorado and the West, as well as conducting a book signing of his new book, Sight Fishing for Trout. We hope to see many of our customers for this special event!
Landon Mayer is a fly fishing guide out of Colorado Springs, Colorado area-calling the South Platte River his home water. He has been guiding in this region for the past twelve years, and has earned the reputation as being a go to source for anybody looking to hunt trophy trout. Landon is a pro-staff angler for Simms Fishing Products, Rio Products, Fishpond, Smith Optics, and Ross Reels. In addition, he is a certified casting instructor with the Federation of Fly Fishers, has authored the best selling book “How to Catch the Biggest Trout of your Life” (2007, Wild River Press), and has starred in numerous DVDs including Landing the Trout of Your Life (2007, Mad Trout Media), and Weapons of Bass Production (2008, Mad Trout Media).
