Are you interested in learning the basics of fly fishing so you can enjoy the sport this for years to come? The goal of this class is to instill a basic understanding of fly fishing gear, equipment, and essentials to prepare first time anglers for a day on the water. If you or someone you know has been on the fence and thinking about giving fly fishing a try, this class provides a great baseline and foundation.
Trout’s Fly Fishing will be giving a special presentation that is mindfully built for beginners who are interested in learning about fly fishing for the first time. This class is designed to help people understand basic fly rod and reel mechanics, what kind of waders and boots are necessary to navigate rivers in Colorado, the difference between nymphs, dry flies and streamers and how to master basic knots and rigging. We will also have plenty of time for hands on questions and answers.
