Its source is Summit Lake near the fourteen thousand foot peak of Mount Evans. Bear Creek flows to a confluence with the South Platte River just south of Downtown Denver. We fished Bear Creek right around ~30 CFS.  The water seemed quite a bit clearer up closer toward Evergreen Lake.  This might have had to do with the estimated 6 billion people (!?) recreating in the river over Father’s Day weekend.
