This intermediate fly fishing class is going to be great for anglers with varied levels of experience. This is a two part series that is focused on giving you a better understanding of the South Platte River drainage, which will help you fish more effectively on your own.
The South Platte River Through a Guide’s Eye – Part I -August 22nd
$250 per person (includes classroom and On Stream Guided Fly Fishing) - 6:00pm-8:30pm
Part I of this class will be held on the 3rd floor of our shop and will cover such topics as entomology of the South Platte River, course and range, stream flow patterns, fish habitat and behavior. All of this information can be applied during Part II of the class, which is a full day of guided fly fishing in the Deckers area of the South Platte River. This class is limited to six (6) students.
The South Platte River Through a Guide’s Eye – Part II- August 24th
Part II of this intermediate fly fishing class is going to be great for anglers with varied levels of experience. The second part includes a full day of guided fly fishing on the South Platte River. This class is kept small and is limited to six anglers who will be paired with two (2) guides. Your day of fly fishing on the South Platte River will include any equipment or gear you need, flies, tippet, beverages and lunch. Once you have completed this class you will have a much better understanding of the South Platte River system. You will also gain hands on experience that will allow you to master this challenging fishery on your own. Part I and Part II of this class are both included for $250 per/person.
