Current Fishing Conditions:
The Eagle River is day to day for the time being. Fishing will be good when the flows are manageable and dropping, so be sure to check the hydrograph before heading out. Weather is also going to play a big role, as any significant warming trend is going to blow most of the river out. Cooler spells will lead to productive fishing on most of the upper river, where as most everything below Wolcott will be blown out due to off color tributaries flowing in. Nymphing will be the most productive method, although fishing a dry dropper rig along the shore during higher flows will work.
