About Ken Morrish: To some, Ken Morrish is a buttoned-up businessman. To others, an artist with a campfire wild side. Introduced to flyfishing by a straight-laced father and his friend Andy Puyans, the legendary tyer/angling hedonist, Kenny was bound to be a mixed bag. His tying cabin is cluttered with feathers, foam, photos, empty bourbon bottles and dirty spitters. This is where he's happiest. Twice yearly, he cleans his cave, usually when he can't find his vise. As a kid, his father had him tie without a vice as they drove to their favorite rivers. By college, he knew nearly nothing about girls, sports or pop culture but he had fished a ton, tied thousands of flies and knew every nuance of hackling. Add a wholehearted love for the sport and his spirited, rebellious nature and you start to better understand his patterns and the passions that helped create them.
