We are proud to offer Same-Day Shipping on all orders placed through our website provided the item is in-stock at our Denver location. We greatly value each and every one of our customers, and we feel as though we are doing you a disservice by having you wait any longer than necessary to receive your orders. To ensure fast and reliable shipping, we utilize the services of UPS and the United States Postal Service (USPS). Here are a few important notes about our shipping policies, and what to expect once you've placed an order with Trouts Fly Fishing.
Insurance For Shipments (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED): We offer optional shipping insurance through Route that will cover your package if it is lost in transit, arrives damaged, or is delivered to the incorrect address (a different address than what was provided by the customer or on the shipping label). This is automatically applied at checkout and if you do not wish to cover your shipment with insurance you must OPT-OUT of the shipping insurance.
Standard Free Shipping: Yes, we offer FREE SHIPPING on any order totaling over $50.00. Items that do not qualify for free shipping will be clearly noted in the product description. On free shipping orders, we will utilize the most cost-efficient shipping method available to us. This by no means will decrease the time in which you can expect to receive your product, but it will allow us to make this service more cost-effective for us. That said, please do not rely on free shipping for orders where you need a certain product(s) by a specified date. Yes, we process all orders within 24 hours of it being placed, but free shipping does not guarantee that you will receive a product in a certain amount of time. So if your purchase is time-sensitive, please choose the appropriate shipping method that will meet your timing needs.
Free 2-Day Shipping: We offer free 2-day shipping on all orders over $350.00. When available we will ship via UPS 2-Day Air. Some locations are too close to our shipping center and UPS 2-Day Air is not available for those shipments. At that time we will ship UPS Ground (which is two days or less to those locations) or the next fastest shipping. Please note that delivery times are not guaranteed for both 2-Day Air and UPS Ground but the accuracy rate is in the high 90's. If you need a shipment guaranteed the best option is to pay for overnight air shipping.
Free International Shipping: We offer free international shipping (any shipping address outside of the United States) on all orders over $500.00. On free international shipping orders, we will utilize the most cost-efficient shipping method available to us. This by no means will decrease the time in which you can expect to receive your product, but it will allow us to make this service more cost-effective for us. That said, please do not rely on free shipping for orders where you need a certain product(s) by a specified date.
Paid Shipping: If you elect to pay for the shipment of your purchase, we guarantee that your order will be processed that day so long as there isn't an issue regarding the availability of the product purchased, and as long as the order was placed prior to 3 pm MST. Orders placed after this time cannot be guaranteed that they will be shipped that day. In the event that you purchased an item that we do not have in-stock, we will do everything within our power to fulfill your order as fast as possible, and at no additional charge to you.
Shipping Times On Paid Shipping: Please note that the shipping times that are shown on the paid shipping options at checkout are ESTIMATES provided by the shipping carriers. These are not guarantees and we are not to be held accountable if your shipment takes longer than the estimated times shown. The current only guaranteed delivery date shipping options are going to be UPS Next Day Air options, the rest have been suspended since the start of the pandemic.
Expedited Shipping: If you choose to have your purchase shipped via one of our expedited shipping options, please ensure that the order is placed prior to 3 pm MST. Orders that are placed after this time cannot be guaranteed that they will be shipped that day, though we will guarantee that your order will be shipped out the following day.
Weekend Shipping: We promise to process all orders on the day that they were placed, but orders that are placed on the weekend will vary as to when they are processed by the shipping carrier. Orders shipped via USPS will be processed by the carrier 6 days a week (Monday thru Saturday). Orders shipped via UPS will be processed by the carrier 5 days a week (Monday thru Friday).
Signature Confirmation: if you would like for your shipment to have signature confirmation upon delivery, please note this in the "Special instructions for seller" field in your shopping cart. All shipments will be shipped without signature confirmation unless noted by the buyer.
In-Store Pick Up: In-store pick up is an option we offer to customers in our local Denver area or visitors who will be in the area. This is not an actual shipping method. If you have selected in-store pick up your order will be held at our Denver location to be picked up by the customer. If the product is on hand in our Denver location the pick up will be ready the day of if placed before 3 pm. Orders placed after business hours will be ready the next day. If the product is at a different warehouse it will be 3-5 business days before the order is ready for pick up. If you wish to know that a product is available in-store same day please give us a call at 303-733-1434 to check the availability.
Local Delivery: New for Fall 2020 Holiday Season we are offering Local Delivery to our customers that live within a 10-mile radius of our 1025 Zuni Street Denver location. Local Delivery orders will be delivered the same day for those who place the order before 2 pm MST. For orders placed after 2 pm MST, they will be delivered the next business day. For orders $99.99 and under the cost of this service is $15, for orders $100 and over this service is free!
Liability After Package Is In Carriers Hands: Ownership of packages turned over to the shipping carrier (USPS or UPS) transfers to the buyer as soon as the package is in the hands of the carrier. We are not responsible for lost, held, or damaged packages that occur once the package has been picked up by the carrier. We are not responsible for mistakes in delivery from the carrier, or incorrect shipping info. We will ship to the provided address as long as it is recognized by our system, if it is not recognized or shows an error we will contact you to get this corrected. Shipping is a service you purchase from the carrier along with your order from us, so any shipping issues must be handled by the carrier.
