Just your friendly neighborhood Trouts Fly Fishing reminder, your 2019 Colorado fishing licenses expired yesterday. The 2020 Colorado fishing licenses are now on sale and there's no time like the present to get legal for your next 12 months on the water.
Normally, we'd be happy to renew your license at either of our locations, but the current climate does not allow us to take care of you in the shop. So, we recommend renewing your license online through the Colorado Parks & Wildlife Website HERE.
A worthwhile note from CPW: due to COVID-19, mailing of licenses, passes, and permits will be delayed. The TAN (Temporary Authorization Number) on your confirmation letter will be valid for 45 days until you receive your license, pass, or permit. Simply follow the TAN instructions included on your confirmation letter and be prepared to present your TAN to CPW staff upon request.
And before you hit the water, make sure to check out our Home Water River Reports. The Home Water River Reports are updated on a weekly basis and feature both on-the-water reports and environmental keys like seasonality, weather, and flows to best inform you about which waters to hit this time of year.
Check out the Colorado Parks and Wildlife website for more details about this year’s fishing regulations.
