Orvis Bug-Out Backpack

When it's time to go, the Orvis Bug-Out fly-fishing backpack lives up to its name. Floatplane, jet plane, truck, drift boat, or your own two feet, this backpack is designed to take what you need and make it easy to find it when you need it. It's a fishing backpack by design, but it easily crosses over to travel as a carry-on or overnighter.

Streamlined design offers top and side-entry access with internal zippered drop pocket and removable divider for gear storage options. Back panel integrated net holder for quick and easy storage for even larger guide nets. External water bottle or rod tube holder with deployable extension to lower rod tube to shoulder height. Shoulder straps feature accessory docking stations and fly patch, plus buckle receivers for compatible Chest Pack (#25FS) and Chest/Hip Pack (#25FT). Whether you're a fly-fishing guide or an angler looking for exceptional capacity, durability, and convenience, the Orvis Guide Sling Pack provides a multifunctional, 100% recycled CORDURA® ECO; platform designed to store and organize, offering easy, intuitive accessibility. With 18 liters of capacity and innovative new features, the Guide Sling can carry multiple large fly boxes, packable rain gear, water, and all the tools and accessories needed for a full day or even days on the water.

New features include the Tippet Whippet recessed docking station with tippet bar included for instant, fixed, and fumble-free access for up to six spools. The 100% recycled CORDURA® ECO Guide Hip Pack has the new Tippet Whippet recessed docking station with tippet bar included for instant, fixed, and fumble-free access for up to six spools. The large main compartment is topped with a large fly patch and inside are a zip pocket, drop-in pockets, and stretch mesh sorting pockets. Smaller front compartment with mesh pockets. The substantial side panels both have zip pockets and hidden net scabbards that store a net with instant access. A lo-pro zinger/nipper pass-through port and small zip pocket on one side and a water bottle holder on the other. Included are two straps, one lightweight neck strap, and one heavier shoulder strap with multiple docking stations, a zip pocket, and fly patch.
