We couldn't be more excited to welcome Tyler Hackett (a.k.a. the man behind Wandering Blue Lines) to the Trouts Denver location to show off his amazing press-printed pieces in our River Room. As an added bonus, Tyler is hauling his printing press all the way from Utah for the occasion. With his flatbed press in hand, Tyler will be pressing blank t-shirts with a selection of his most popular designs all night long! Not only do you have the chance to meet and talk with Tyler, but you can leave with a freshly printed piece of functional and wearable art that Tyler printed right in front of you.

Tyler is well known throughout the fly fishing community for his unique, wood-carved, old-school-inspired prints. In addition to his originals, he's been commissioned to produce work for The Fly Fishing Film Tour, Flylords, Costa, Nautilus, Hooke, Pig Farm Ink, and Denver Trout Unlimited - to name a few. We are honored and excited to host an art exhibition showcasing Tyler, his print press, and a selection of his favorite pieces over the next month. It should be noted that EVERY woodcut print is handmade and hand printed, using archival quality inks and paper. Artist's Statement: "Making art for all who follow the wandering blue lines of streams, rivers, and coastlines, be it with a finger on a map, or boots in the water. I put the same amount of passion into making art as we all do into spending time on the water. In an effort to help promote a culture of respect for fish, water, and the surrounding land, 10% of all sales will be donated to a non-profit working to protect the environments we all enjoy."
