Trouts own Ivan Orsic is back to talk about the current river and fishing conditions throughout Colorado.
We're counting down the days until March. While fishing remains consistently solid in these low winter flows, forgive us if we're excited about talking about something other than midges and attractors.
Winter isn't giving up it's grasp on our fisheries quite yet. As such midges, tiny blue-winged olives, worms, eggs, and attractor flies continue to be our go-to flies on both freestones and tailwaters alike. Gray and red seem to be the most productive midge colors recently.
Small stonefly nymphs can also pull a fish or two in fish on your favorite fisheries.
