Trouts own Ivan Orsic is back to talk about the current river and fishing conditions throughout Colorado. It's late fall/early winter and the fishing reflects that. While we're still seeing lower flows below Cheesman Reservoir, fishing has been consistently good with recent bumps in flows below 11 Mile and the Dream Stream.
It's the same story with regards to bugs - mostly midges and blue wings - with a chance of dry fly action if the conditions are right. This is a great time of year to slow down, enjoy your surroundings, and work water patiently.
