Here's five reasons you should be fishing over the next couple of weeks:
1. Blue-wings.
2. Streamers.
3. Tricos.
4. Foliage.
5. Hoppers.
With days getting shorter, even cloudless days are resulting in good hatches of blue-winged olives as the sun starts to drop and the shadows start getting longer. It's a great time to be out on the water; with the gradual decline in temperatures in the high country, we're still seeing plentiful terrestrials and tricos.
With fall foliage popping around the state, it's hard to beat the colors you'll experience while out on the water the next couple of weeks. Go forth and fish.
