It's MARCH! The weather has been primo over the last week plus and our fisheries are starting to wake from their winter slumber. That means Blue Wings are on the horizon. Big spring midges are showing up and we're on the verge of spring. Of course, that can change quickly as March and April can be two of the snowiest months of the year here in Colorado. Midges, Big Spring Midges, and Attractors are getting the job done. Additionally, we're starting to see fishing clue into blue-wings and our Denver Head Guide saw his first South Platte adult Blue-Wing earlier this week!
We've added another segment to the Forecast. For year's we've kept a private online "Guide Shack" where guides would leave trip reports from their recent trips on the water. They'd talk flies, flows, weather, rigging and the like. Starting earlier this week, we added the Guide Shack to our website and we'll be featuring a Guide Report in every upcoming episode of the Forecast. Check out the Guide Shack HERE.
