Flows have dropped on the South Platte. We're in the meat of fall fishing - with blue-winged olives, midges, and streamers playing leading roles as we close out October and move into November. This has been a warmer fall and fishing has reflected that. However, the forecast continues to bring cooler temperatures to the high country. It's time to get your cold weather fishing gear out and target those fish who are trying to put on some pounds before winter really takes hold in the high country.
This can be an incredibly productive time to get out on the water. Take advantage of this transitional period of time and get after it!
