Want to fish hoppers like a pro in 2018? Make sure to make room in your schedule for Tanner's "Just Hoppers" presentation. If you don't know Tanner's story, here is a quick rundown.
Tanner grew up in the river with a fly rod in his hand. Fast forward a couple of decades and Tanner eats, breaths, and sleeps fishing. A fan of all-night drives across the Centennial State and lukewarm American Lagers, Tanner has dedicated himself to the pursuit of Rocky Mountain trout.
He likes long walks on the beach during magic hour, fishing big dry flies, and fishing streamers. Since he's already talked about streamers this year and no one actually wants to walk down the beach with him at sunset, we figured it was time for Tanner to give a presentation on fishing hoppers. Tanner has been honing his hoppers skills on all sizes of water all over the Rocky Mountains. You don't want to miss this presentation as late summer and early fall are great times to fish the Rocky Mountains with hoppers.
Don't believe us, remember Tanner has an Instagram.
Topics to be discussed: Rigging, Reading Water, Fly Choice, Presentation, Seasonality, and he'll be talking about feelings again. There will also be plenty of time for Q&A!
