A new addition to the Abel Reel line, the VAYA - which is the spanish word for ‘Go!’ - has arrived at Trouts Denver. A welcome addition to our Abel Reels cabinet, the all-new Vaya was designed and crafted by Colorado anglers and offers a unique combination of lightweight performance and incredible rigidity with it's partially-ported frame. The frame interior also features varying sets of CNC-milled fly patterns, relevant to each size of reel. Like every Abel Reel, it's made in Montrose, Colorado.

With a large-arbor spool features a precision-balanced, dual-pawl drag engagement design that eliminates the need for a counterweight. The carbon / stainless 5-disc drag system produces substantial resistance while providing a wide range of adjustability for delicate tippet.
