First and foremost, thank you to everyone who joined us for the #OptOutside River Cleanup this past Black Friday.
As we were last year, we were excited to have so many people take time out of their holiday weekend to clean up such a valuable resource. It was encouraging to see so many new and familiar faces the day after Thanksgiving and we can safely say that the South Platte is better because of it.
Deckers certainly is a well-loved stretch of water and it was super rewarding to give back to this popular stretch of water. We can't wait until the next one. Stay tuned to our blog, Facebook, and Instagram for more upcoming events. To the photos...
Rick welcomes and thanks everyone for joining us on that fine Friday morning.The crew. We're certainly thankful that this group of people sacrificed their Friday morning to clean up the South Platte.Rick's got jokes....to shoes, everyone grabbed all the random pieces of trash that were tucked away in every nook and cranny of the South Platte.From families......to individuals, we were joined by a variety of people all scouring the banks for trash at Deckers.The crew with the haul!Everyone shared some cold ones provided by Joy Liquors....and Harlan enjoyed a couple of hot dogs.We gave out prizes for the most trash and the weirdest trash collected.
