Will Rice, editor of 2020 edition of our shop publication The Current, reached out a couple of weeks ago about producing and hosting a podcast just as the state started to shut down. Needless to say, we were pretty excited to have Will, a podcast veteran at this point (check out his podcast DOWN THE PATH), host our first foray into the podcast world. Introducing The CURRENT Podcast by Trouts Fly Fishing!

The CURRENT is a low-key, light-hearted fly fishing podcast hosted by Will Rice. With some recently found free time, Will will be thumbing through his Rolodex of accomplished anglers and friends in the fly fishing industry to talk about what's going on in their neck of the woods.

In the first episode, Will welcomes his good friend Copi Vojta - photo editor at The Fly Fish Journal. If you've ever picked up a copy of The Fly Fish Journal, you've undoubtedly been blown away by the imagery that graces it's pages. The man behind cultivating that imagery and contributing some imagery as well is none other than the aforementioned Mr Vojta. Host Will Rice talks with Copi about his path to becoming the Photo Editor at The Fly Fish Journal as well as how he likes to spend his angling time in the areas surrounding Bellingham, Washington.
