Trouts Fly Tying - Tying the Frenchie

Ivan Orsic / Apr 4, 2018

Trouts Frisco Guide Josh Diller is back with another fly tying video. This edition features one of his go-to bugs for Summit County for late winter and early spring, the Frenchie. The Frenchie, designed by Lance Egan, is a simplified version of the Pheasant Tail nymph that gets down in the water column in a hurry. Josh took the Frenchie out on a guided trip to the Williams Fork and the proof is in the pudding.

You can book Josh (or any of our professional fly fishing guides) for a guided trip by calling 303-733-1434.

Also, don't forget, every $25 spent at Trouts Frisco for the remainder of the month of April earns you an entry into the running to win a Scott Radian Fly Rod and Ross Evolution LTX Fly Reel as part of our Summit Spring Break Sweepstakes!
