As we move into the Spring fishing season, Trouts Fly Fishing is pleased to announce that we just opened a new location in Frisco, Colorado. Located on Main Street Frisco, our new location is right in the heart of Summit County, and will be an ideal launching point to access some of the best fishing in Colorado. In addition to now having a second retail location, we will now be able to offer our clients a wider choice of waters for guide trips including the Blue River, Colorado River, Williams Fork River, Arkansas River, Eagle River, Roaring Fork River and Frying Pan River. From Owner Tucker Ladd, “It has always been my intention to take the Trouts Fly Fishing experience outside of the Denver Front Range, and with its hometown feel and close proximity to world-class fly fishing, Frisco was a perfect fit for our inaugural foray into multiple locations.”

The fly shop itself offers a curated product selection that is ideal for fishing in the Summit County area. "We wanted to bring the Colorado experience into our new location" tells Ladd, "so we sourced as much product and materials as we could from our local area. We utilized pine beetle kill wood from Kremmling, artwork for fishpond founder and Summit County local Johnny Le Coq, and products from Colorado manufacturers including Ross Reels, Abel Reels, Scott Fly Rods, fishpond USA, Umpqua Feather Merchants, and Rep Your Water."

Trouts Frisco will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 10am - 5pm for the duration of Mud Season, and will be open 7 days a week as we moving into the Summer months. We will be holding a Grand Opening celebration, stay tuned for more details.
