Trouts customer Dr. Fred Miller just returned from a place many a fly-fisher has been drooling over lately- Cuba. Dr. Miller traveled South on a trip through Yellow Dog Fly Fishing Adventures and stayed aboard the La Tortuga, a 110 foot double decked houseboat complete with 7 guest rooms. From the sounds of it, the food, beverages and cuban cigars were almost as good as the fishing!

Dr. Miller said they never saw another fishing party all day after departing each morning and the flats fishing was as world-class as he's ever experienced. For 5 days, it sounded like barely a moment went by where there wasn't a bonefish or tarpon to cast at. Scrolling through Miller's phone at the shop, there was certainly no shortage of fish pictures to drool over.
