"Here we go again." That’s been the sentiment around much of Colorado over the past couple of weeks, and our Governor's move to place a majority of Colorado Counties in the new “Level Red” designation has our customers inquiring as to what we are doing to ensure a safe in-store environment. So I wanted to take a moment to address this and note the many ways we are addressing this situation, as well as layout the numerous ways we are here to ensure our customers get what they need, whether that be gear, advice, or a simple distraction.
In-Store | It just so happens that we opened our new 5,000 sq/ft location on July 10th, 2020. It also just so happens that we designed the new store during COVID-19, so social distancing was top of mind and a safe shopping experience for our customers was paramount in the store's design and layout (for example, we have reconfigured all of our fly bins so that customers can shop the most seasonally relevant flies with room to spare). We have been effectively offering our customers a safe shopping experience throughout this year, and we feel that we can still effectively do so even given the rise in COVID cases. We are following the guidance of local and state officials, and are addressing any necessary points on a daily basis.
Additionally, starting Friday November 20th, we will be offering private appointments for any customers who feel more comfortable shopping during non-business hours. This will be from 9AM - 10AM daily, with appointments being booked online. If you have any questions regarding our in-store experience please do not hesitate in calling us at (303) 733-1434.
Curbside Pickup | You can place an order online, or over the phone and we’ll notify you when your order is ready to pick up. All orders placed prior to 3pm are guaranteed same day pickup at either our Denver or Frisco location (please note that orders for our Frisco location must be placed over the phone).
Same Day Delivery | We are pleased to now offer Local Delivery to any address within 15 miles of our Denver location. This service costs a flat rate of $15, but is FREE for all orders over $99. Simply place your order online or over the phone, and our delivery team will make sure you get your order in a timely manner. All orders placed prior to 2PM are guaranteed for same-day delivery.
Standard Shipping | All orders over $50 ship for FREE, and all orders placed prior to 3PM are guaranteed same-day shipping (drop shipments excluded).
Trouts Live | We are actively working to increase the content we are producing for our customers, and Trouts Live is the next evolution of our efforts. With in-store presentations not in the cards as we move into winter, we’ll be hosting a variety of online seminars geared towards all angling ability levels. Stay tuned to the blog for more.
I want to close by reminding all of our customers that we are here to help you in any way we can. We know the benefits that come from spending a day on the water, and this has been our driving force through this entire ordeal. And while the state may not have deemed us to be “essential”, we know that the services we offer our customers are invaluable, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. And remember, our home is your home, or maybe we’ll see you out on the water (a fly rod's length away of course).
