On March 24th, we had to close our Denver doors to our loyal customers, and to say that it has been a challenging 6 weeks would be an understatement. We have had to adapt, learn, and transition daily, all in order to transact with our customers in new and unique ways. All things considered, Trouts Fly Fishing has weathered this ordeal surprisingly well, and we stand poised to not only survive but ensure that we are here to THRIVE as restrictions begin to ease.
This afternoon Mayor Hancock announced that he will not be extending the Denver Stay At Home Order past Friday, May 8th. While we do not know exactly what this means for Brick & Mortar retail businesses like Trouts, we do feel confident that we will have the ability to expand our services and offerings, and more easily help all of our customers get out and enjoy a day on the water.
While we are immensely excited to welcome our customers back into our stores, we plan on doing so at the guidance of our local and state authorities with the safety and well being of our employees and customers being our top priority. As more insight and information becomes available we will reach out with more detailed plans for our “re-opening”, but know that we are working diligently behind the scenes to prepare. We hope all of our customers have remained safe and well, we greatly look forward to the opportunity to further assist you.
