Getting started in fly fishing can be overwhelming. But, it doesn't need to be hard. We're here to make it as simple and approachable, as possible.
In this episode, our Director of Education Courtney Despos talks about how to setup a dry-dropper rig. While we're a couple of months away from Hopper-Dropper season, the dry-dropper rig is a great rig to utilize any time you encounter rising or suspended fish. Substitute smaller a more hatch-appropriate dry fly and nymph and you'll be in business. Check out the rest of the 10-part introductory series, Starting Off in Fly Fishing on our YouTube channel!
