The highest flows of spring runoff are seemingly behind us and summer fishing is just around the corner. The great thing about summer fishing is there are a wide variety of techniques that will put fish in your net. From throwing dry-dropper rigs out of a drift boat, tossing streamers for big browns or nymphing to those technical tailwater trout, there are a plethora of ways to catch trout when summertime arrives.

Join Trouts Director of Education Courtney Despos, Scientific Anglers own Doug Garvey and Trouts Guide Tucker Bamford for a night of knots and rigging at Trouts Denver. They'll be teaching and reviewing the technique and application of 6 KNOTS (Double Surgeon's, Clinch, Blood, Davy, Non-Slip Loop, and Perfection Loop) and 3 UNIQUE RIGGING TECHNIQUES (Nymph Rig, Dry-Dropper Rig, and Streamer Rig). With dedicated stations for each respective knot and rigging technique, this is an awesome opportunity to learn new skills or tune your existing knowledge base just in time for some spectacular summer fishing.

Scientific Anglers will be providing complimentary Leader and Tippet for all those women in attendance.

Additionally, we're happy to extend our normal Happy Hour specials ($0.50 off flies and 10% off terminal tackle and fly tying materials) to anyone in the shop.
