Call and Book Your Spot Today!

Trouts Fly Fishing is proud to welcome two of the more accomplished stillwater anglers in the game - Landon Mayer & Phil Rowley - to the shop for a very special stop on their "Stillwater Tour." Stillwaters tend to be overlooked by fly anglers. But, quite frankly, they shouldn't be. They're dynamic, insect-filled, trophy trout-holding waters that can produce some of your most memorable days of the fishing season. But, they can be intimidating. Unlock the secrets to stillwater success with help from Landon Mayer and Phil Rowley (who wrote the proverbial books on stillwaters) on August 9th, 2022 at the Trouts Denver location.

This in-store class will cover all the things. The meat and bones of the course will cover how to tie SIX of Landon & Phil's go-to stillwater patterns (three signature flies from both Landon & Phil - time permitting). In addition, Phil and Landon will be sharing time-proven techniques and tips for timing the season, rigging, fly presentation, and more. From the shallow shorelines to the deep water, this class will prepare you to fish any stillwater you might happen upon.

To reserve your spot, please call our shop at (303) 733-1434 or come swing by the Denver location, and we will happily get you squared away. Cost: $100/person. Materials will be provided by Landon & Phil. Bring your own fly-tying vise. This event will take place on August 9th, 2022 from 5 PM to ~8:30 PM.
