COME SHARE A VISE WITH ONE OF THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS!
Trouts is proud to partner with Umpqua Feather Merchants and offer our unique fly tying series and give you the opportunity to sit down and tie with the who’s who of the tying industry.
We are very excited to welcome Alec Gerbec to our 2020 Signature Umpqua Tier Series! Alec Gerbec, an accomplished and experienced angler and fly designer, was the head fly fishing guide at Alphonse Fishing Company - one of the most tide-dependent fisheries in the world. It was there that he designed and tested the now world-famous Alphlexo Crab for permit. Nothing like a little isolation in the middle of the Indian Ocean to really hone your fly tying skills. Alec will be teaching the class how to tie the Alphlexo Crab (for permit), the Po Boy for redfish, and a yet unnamed fly for tarpon. This is a tremendous opportunity to learn the ins and outs of tying for your next trip to the saltwater flats!
Here’s your chance to take your tying to the next level. Our small class size (6-participants), allows you to share a vise with one of the best in the business.
No vise, no worries we’ll have extras. Materials will be available for purchase.
*Space is limited on this so don’t delay and sign up.
