Step up your photo game!
Fly Fishing takes us to amazing places with even better people. The ability to capture these fleeting moments on the water can be as rewarding as reeling in a massive brown trout. If you're interested in improving your fly fishing photography, don't miss Trouts' own Ivan Orsic's "Taking Better Fly Fishing Photos" presentation next week.
Never heard of Brand & Marketing Manager, Ivan Orsic? Allow me to make the introductions...
Ansel Adams, Annie Leibovitz, Jimmy Chin, and Ivan Orsic...Widely considered to be the world's premiere photographers in their respective subject matters, Trouts Fly Fishing was lucky enough to bring the critically-acclaimed Ivan Orsic on board in early 2017.
Ivan's love of photography was born on a snowy Christmas Day in 2008 when his parents gifted him a Flip Video Camera. With his Flip in tote, a legend was born. The drive to capture time and space with his VGA-quality Flip camera compelled the young Mr. Orsic. His formative years, in regard to photography, were spent chasing big trout in Western Montana. Mr. Orsic, a self-proclaimed trout bum, spent the majority of his twenties honing his skills and perfecting his photography. Catch big fish and document the experience - these were the goals of young Mr. Orsic. Like Mentos in a Diet Coke bottle, Ivan's rise to the top was quick. Mr. Orsic has been shooting professionally for 4 years now with no plans to stop anytime soon.
All kidding aside, Ivan directs, edits, and shoots content for Trouts Fly Fishing, among others. Want to check out some more of his work? Take a quick look at his instagram.
Trust us, you don't want to miss this one!
