Sam Kinney and George Sinclair
It was starting to feel like spring on the Colorado with the warm temperatures and poor visibility. Runoff is here at least for the time being. With that, we decided to search for clean water and head up towards the Williams Fork. After a good long hike through the snow we arrived and found low flows but gin clear water. Fish were holding in deep runs with good structure and there was ample opportunity to sight fish. We found fish on stones, midges, and eggs. Look for blue wings to start coming off soon as the weather continues to warm.
