We fished Clear Creek Canyon for day one of a Two Day Beginner School. Fun afternoon session with plenty of fish willing to play along. Dry/Dropper is the key to success on Clear Creek. You can get away with a classic nymph rig but as it starts to get warmer fish should start looking up more and more. Another advantage of the Dry/Dropper is the lighter presentation on the small water. Rig of choice was a 16 PMX in yellow to a 20 Zebra Midge in black and took fish consistently on both flies.
