Scott Dickson and Sam Kinney
Despite below freezing temps and gusty winds in the 25-30 mph range, fishing on the North Fork of the South Platte was still fantastic. We hit the water around 0830 and right out of the gate, it was on! Lots of happy fish willing to play along. Fish were willing to take a variety of flies, but eggs and various little midges were the meal of choice. Want to beat the crowds and have a shot at a trophy trout? Call into the shop and ask about our Private Water offerings!
