TRIP SUMMARY

Fun morning on Clear Creek. With heavy rains turning to snow overnight, we were a bit worried given that we had a strict time frame to be back in Denver. It didn't matter. Fishing was on right out of the gate and didn't stop until we reeled up at noon. With water a bit off color and temps in the thirties we went straight to the nymph rig. We fished one rig all day and had success on all three flies. Rainbow Warrior (18)>Zebra Midge (20 olive)> Zebra Midge (22 black). They might be small fish but there sure are a lot of them!
