TRIP SUMMARY


The streamer bite has been absolutely amazing as of late at Abell Ranch. We started the day in the cold, nymphing deeper holes and producing fish on large attractor flies as well as midge patterns. Once it warmed up, a black streamer with some sinking line was all we needed to have a great day. We focused our time on casting at the far bank and stripping it back quickly with pauses in-between. Right now and still for a couple weeks is a great time to throw streamers and can be an awful lot of fun too!
