The Eagle has been fishing well into fall, as it should! This is one of the better times of the season to fish this section. We had a large group and were able to get every person on at least one fish. It tends to take a few hours to heat up in the morning, so there is no rush to get there this time of year. We had a lot of success but they were keying in on very specific flies.. Small ones! Our main successes came from these few flies: Jigster PMD #16, Radiation Baetis in Orange #18, Jig Frenchie #20, and Olive WD-40s in #20. A clean drift through water where fast meets deep pools is where they like to hang out right now.
