Deckers fished pretty well despite the heavy crowds before the holiday. It was a cold, crisp morning but we were into fish right away. Olive leeches in size 14 and white midge larvae in 22 were top flies. We found fish in the typical deeper runs, being very thorough through runs is key right now as the colder water temps has fish not willing to move very far to take a fly. Treat each run like a grid and cover every square foot. Patience paid off as we hooked several fish after several empty drifts through the same run! Good luck out there!
