Fantastic day out on the water. Weather was in the upper 50s and 60s all day, mostly clear but a couple moments of wind and cloud cover. We saw midge hatches all day, but we only saw a couple rises the entire float. Not worth throwing on the dries quite yet in my opinion. We fished pretty deep, around 5-6 ft to the first fly and 16" between flies, and mostly had luck on the bigger calorie bugs. Dead drifting a thin mint and pats rubber legs did best for me, but had some eats on eggs, rainbow warriors and size #18 midges. Water was a bit dirty but not too bad, flows are still low but we will probably start seeing them increase daily at this point. Great time of year to be out there, crowds are not crazy yet and weather is perfect.
