TRIP SUMMARY

Very good day at Deckers with non stop action throughout the day. The morning started off chilly with some light snow but quickly cleared to sunshine. We were on the fish immediately with a size 20 pheasant tail taking most of the fish. We found fish in deep runs, shallow riffles and small pockets actively feeding. We stuck with nymphing in the morning and moved to presenting dries in the afternoon as the blue wing olives started to come off. A size 20 sparkle dun proved to be the ticket as we had non stop action on dries the remainder of the day. All in all a great day and about as good as it gets. good luck out there!
