TRIP SUMMARY

About as good as it gets at Rawhide Ranch. This section of private water truly is special. Despite low flows and cold temps, the fishing was fantastic. Clients were experienced anglers and euro nymphed the entire day. A size 16 black stonefly and size 16 nuke egg accounted for every fish. The lower flows had the fish concentrated in the deeper runs and pools and euro nymphing helped detect the subtle takes. Non stop action kept the blood pumping and adrenaline flowing so the cold wasn’t an issue. Fantastic day, 50+ landed.
