TRIP SUMMARY

Great day on the Ark today. We started nymphing and the trout were really keyed in on the midges hatching early. A size 20 $3 dip and size 20 Virginia Midge put several fish in the net. We also got them on a cdc attractor I tie. We worked our way upstream casting in every soft water spot and almost every one had a fish willing to eat. At 2:00 the blue wings started to come off and we had great dry fly action for about an hour. A size 20 cdc comparadun fooled several fish. Make sure you have enough weight to get down as the Ark runs a bit fast. All in all a great day on the beautiful Ark with non stop action the entire day. Good luck out there!
