TRIP SUMMARY

Fishing on the Blue is as good as it gets right now. Water is gin clear and after a long winter and spring of 50 CFS, fish appear to be happy with twice the amount of water. Use the water clarity to your advantage, move slowly along the banks, and look for fish to sight fish too. In deeper runs with good structure, if you can find one fish, usually you might find a few. Our top fly this morning was without a doubt a Jigged Rainbow Warrior. We also took fish on Foam Back Emergers (Black and Brown). Great morning on the river with a couple of great guys!
