TRIP SUMMARY

Awesome day on the Eagle! Flows are coming down making it a little easier to wade but also have higher temps, be sure to have a thermometer on hand. The early morning there was a strong midge hatch, fish were eating emerging midges as well as midge nymphs. This lasted until the mid day with some additional PMDs and Yellow Sallys hatching. Afternoon fish moved into riffles and were happily feeding. Hot flies of the day were Top Secret Midge, Olive Leech and Splitback PMD, Hairwing Yellow Sally.
