TRIP SUMMARY

Floated Horse Creek to Cottonwood. The river looked great with good flows and about 2.5’ of visibility. We primarily fished with nymphing rigs with size 10 pats rubber legs and size 18 pmd emergers taking most of the fish. Pods of fish were sporadic and were all holding in the faster riffles and pockets. We saw quite a few pmd’s hatching throughout the day and had success casting dries to rising fish. A size 16 ant got most of the dry eats today however. Fishing was definitely good but not what I would call great.
