Tucker Bamford
This little lady pretty much killed it today. It was the best day we’ve had on the river in quite a while, maybe the best day this year. The trico hatch was thick. The spinnerfall had fish rising from about 9-11 AM. Size 24 black spinners were the key to consistent surface strikes. We saw a few sparse risers this afternoon but our action came on nymphs fished in fast riffles, mostly natural colored worms and PMDs. The recent raise in flows has really improved the fishing and dropped the water temps back into the 50’s again.
